FOURTH  GRADE

WoodstockWelcome to St. Mary’s world of Fourth Graders.  Our goals for this year are: to polish up our addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts in order to be   competent problem solvers,  to travel the world through good literature,  to become note worthy writers,  and to delve into the field of scientific exploration.  And yes, we can accomplish all this by asking for God’s grace and direction through our daily prayers.

The classroom is set up with “learning centers” to support and offer challenges in the subject areas being taught.  This is an effective tool to put what they are learning into practice.  The centers also allow for diversity of learning styles.  All the children will have an opportunity to make good use of these centers.

Our class motto is…

”This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
